How do I get started?

Please feel free to email us your project idea or general design. Be sure to send your contact information (and email) so we can respond. This is the best way to start because it provides us time understand your requirements before starting a more detailed conversation.

Want do you charge for services?

The answer is, it depends.

We prefer to work on a fixed hourly rate. A fixed rate allows us the flexibility to deliver the highest quality software possible. Quality software normally reduces the overall cost of ownership.

Hourly rate however does not imply 'no control over budget'. We will work with you to divide the project into small deliverable phases and define a budget for each phase. You can monitor progress and billable hours via electronic web tracking. As soon as possible or at your request, if we see that phase will go over budget, we will stop work. From there, we can work together to redefine the features to reduce cost or get your approval to progress. Expanding scope in one deliverable can often reduce the cost of future deliverables.

The goal is to deliver as much value in each phase as the budget allows.

Upon completion of a phase, you do not pay until you accept the deliverable. If required, a list of defects will be written for acceptance and the features will be fixed at our expense. Only new features, not previously included in the deliverable, will incur additional charges. Once a deliverable is accepted and payment is made, we will deliver the source code to your repository and start on the next phase.

We never do work above budget or extra work without your approval.

If your budget requires a fixes price, we can provide a quote but please appreciate that in order to give realistic pricing, the project's requirements and time lines need to be well defined upfront. We can work as consultants on an hourly rate to help you define your project or if you have a pre-existing design, send it to us and let us review it.

Can you put my application online?

While we do not offer custom hosting, we can configure a server on a hosting service of your choice, including domain name registery, DNS, analytics and certificates. You will pay for and own your own website and services and we assist in the setup.
